  • To watch video on the Texan Live Apple TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV apps, you must have subscribed or purchased a game or Playoff Pass on www.texanlive.com
  • Once you’ve subscribed to or purchased videos on TexanLive.com, follow the instructions below to install the Texan Live app on your Apple TV, Roku or Amazon Fire TV devices:
    • Apple TV instructions
      • Visit the App Store
      • Search for Texan Live and click Install
    • Roku instructions
      • Navigate to Search Tab
      • Search for Texan Live
      • Select the Texan Live app in the list of results
      • Click Install
    • Amazon Fire TV instructions
      • Click on the Search Icon in the top menu at the very far left-hand side
      • Search for Texan Live
      • Select the Texan Live app in the list of results
      • Click Install

How to Watch

  • Open the Texan Live app on your Apple TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV device
  • Once the app loads, follow the instructions below:
    • Apple TV:
      • Press/Swipe up on your Apple TV remote and select “My Library” in the top navigation menu
      • Next, click “Sign In” and sign in with your email address and password you created on TexanLive.com
      • Once successfully logged in, the “My Library” screen will display any individual videos you purchased on TexanLive.com.
        • Simply click on any of your purchased videos and select Play to watch.
      • If you purchased a Playoff Pass, press/swipe up on your Apple TV remote and choose “Texan Live High School Sports” in the top navigation menu.
        • You will be brought to the home screen where you can navigate to and watch any video in the 2017 Playoffs playlist.
    • Roku:
      • simply navigate to a video you wish to watch, then click Play
      • If the video requires a subscription or purchase (Playoff Pass or Individual Video), the app will ask you to log in with your email address and password or link your device by visiting https://activate.texanlive.com
    • Amazon Fire TV:
      • simply navigate to a video you wish to watch, then click Play
      • If the video requires a subscription or purchase (Playoff Pass or Individual Video), the app will ask you to log in with your email address and password or link your device by visiting https://activate.texanlive.com
    • If you actively logged in and receive an error message “You are not entitled to this content”, it means that you have not purchased the individual video or the Playoff Pass. Please visit TexanLive.com then search for and purchase that individual video or Playoff Pass.

  • “How do I access content I’ve purchased?”
    • Please refer to the “How To Watch” instructions above.
  • “I’m able to log in and see the video options, but when I click play, the video will not play.”
    • Confirm that you have purchased or subscribed to that content. If you believe you already purchased videos or subscribed, login on TexanLive.com and confirm you have an active subscription.
  • What do I do if I receive an “Error: You are not entitled to this content” message?
    • Check to see if you’ve linked your device (or signed in)
      • Please refer to the “How To Watch” instructions above.
    • If you are logged in and are still receiving this error, this means you haven’t subscribed or purchased this content (Pass Plan or Individual Purchase)
      • Please visit TexanLive.com then search for and purchase that individual video or Playoff Pass.
  • “My app keeps crashing and won’t load. How can I fix this?”
    • Check if Texan Live app has an update. It is possible for that an existing bug was caught and resolved in the newer version.
    • Please check to ensure your device is updated to the latest operating system. For example, as of November 27, 2017 the latest Roku version should be 8.0.0
    • Restart your Apple TV, Roku or Amazon Fire TV device and your internet router. Re-open the Texan Live app.
      • If the app does not load at all, contact Texan Live support.
        • If the app crashes when you repeat an action (i.e. click a specific button in a certain screen), please contact Texan Live support with these details included.

If you can’t get the apps to work after following all the instructions above – Don’t worry, you paid to watch the games on texanlive.com and you still can!  Just find the game you want to watch on our website, login, and enjoy the game!
