Brian Ford Calls It A Career

HOUSTON – Summer Creek Bulldog’s head football coach Brian Ford calls it a career after eight seasons building the football program into what it is today.

From 2011-2013 Ford led the Bulldogs to district titles.

In 2014, Summer Creek jumped from the 4A level to the newly formed 6A level in the UIL.

After just missing out on the playoffs last season, the Bulldogs prevailed to the 2017 playoffs even defeating La Porte in the bi-district playoffs.

Against Friendswood in the Area playoffs, Summer Creek was a mere field goal away from a date with the eventual state champions, Cy-Fair Bobcats.

From having to build a program up from scratch in 2010 and then transforming a 4A team into a 6A playoff team, Ford leaves behind quite the legacy in Humble ISD.

Coach Ford finishes his career at Summer Creek with an overall record of 53-32.
